Additional cameras add greater visibility to MiX Vision solution

MiX Telematics has added an extension to its fully integrated in-cab video solution - MiX Vision. The addition of two optional external cameras gives customers extended high-resolution footage on demand to improve safety and driver behaviour. MiX Telematics Europe exhibits in Paris and launches exciting new offering

MiX Telematics Europe teamed up with its channel partner, Sirac, to exhibit at Flottes Automobiles in Paris, France, on 10 March 2017. This event focussed on mixed commercial vehicles and gathered industry experts from across Europe to discuss the future of fleet operations. Two of MiX’s senior executives gave well-received presentations on “How to analyse and exploit data” and “Safety: How to empower drivers?”. MiX also launched MiX eCoach (known as MiX DriveMate in the UK), which is a driver feedback tool ideal for light commercial vehicles and non-professional drivers. It provides the driver with instant feedback through a series of 'traffic light'-style LEDs.

Staff participate in important cancer awareness event

Things got a bit ‘hairy’ with MiX staff in the Stellenbosch office recently, all for a good cause of course! The CANSA Shavathon encourages people to stand in solidarity with those affected by cancer by either shaving their heads as a symbolic gesture or by colouring their hair. Donations are collected from the event to support the CANSA organisation whose mission is to be the preferred non-profit organisation that enables research, educates the public and provides support to all people affected by cancer.
